Ashhar Farhan joins ARDC Foundation

Ashhar Farhan, known for his pioneering work in the BITX series of transceivers, has recently been appointed as a new Board Member for the US-based ARDC Foundation, marking a significant addition to their team. Farhan’s reputation precedes him, as he is celebrated for his innovative contributions to the homebrew community. With a deep understanding of amateur radio and a knack for integrating cutting-edge technology with the DIY ethos.  As HFsignals.com transitioned to a US-based company, Farhan’s collaborative spirit is set to enrich the homebrew tech landscape, facilitating the exchange of ideas and advancements within the community.

Notably, Farhan joins two other members from India at ARDC: Jai Chanda – VU2YYE, part of the Grants Evaluation Team, and Saquib Ahmed – VU3HZW, serving on the Technical Advisory Team.

ARDC is a private foundation based in California, originating from amateur radio and internet communication technologies. ARDC  supports, promotes, and enhance digital communication and broader communication science and technology, to promote amateur radio, scientific research, experimentation, education, development, open access, and innovation in information and communication technology.
